The weaving is located in Tuscany, this is the land we breathe every day. Some fabrics have always been part of our culture. Like the diamond design that we find in the tradition of many European courts: it was already made in Siena in the early Middle Ages at the entrance to the Via Cassia first and then Via Francigena. The name Pienza derives from the fact that this road led to the village of the same name. Some immortal testimonies of this drawing can be admired in medieval paintings, such as the Last Supper by Duccio da Boninsegna, in the cloister of Monteoliveto Maggiore Buonconvento, in Siena in the representation of the refectory of the Olivetan friars.
The fabric is manufactured in Tuscany by the Busatti company, and we in our laboratory, in the heart of Montalcino, handcraft every single item.
